MCT Essential Oil is produced through the fractionation of coconut and palm kernel oils, both rich sources of triglycerides. Fractionation isolates the medium-chain triglycerides (MCTs), removing the long-chain fatty acids. This process creates a versatile carrier oil with a lightweight, non-greasy texture and no aroma or flavor. The ultra-refining ensures optimal clarity and shelf life. The predominant MCTs in fractionated oils are caprylic acid (C8) and capric acid (C10), which have a neutral profile. MCT oil makes an excellent carrier for essential oils used in aromatherapy.
