Ashwagandha extract 1.5% withanolides is manufactured under the high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) process in a series of exacting steps to ensure pure, potent, and consistent yield.

1. Raw material preparation: Fresh and of best quality Ashwagandha roots were procured and cleaned thoroughly for all sorts of extraneous materials. The roots are dried at an optimum temperature in a manner so that the drying process does not affect the integrity of its active constituents.

2. Extraction: Take the dried roots of Ashwagandha and then make its powder fine. Subject the roots of the plant to a suitable solvent (e.g., water, ethanol, or their mixture) for the extraction process. This step should be optimized carefully to a proper extent to reach the maximum extraction of the withanolides while extracting the least amount of undesired compounds.

3. Concentration and Standardization: The extract is then concentrated under reduced pressure to remove the solvent, getting either a thick paste or dry powder. Where necessary, the dilution or blending with inert carriers to this extract may be done to make the standardization content at 1.5% withanolides.

4. HPLC Analysis: Withanolide determination will be carried out using High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), which measures the content exactly and should not be less than 1.5%. This method analyzes the extract to give exact quantifications and purity results of withanolides.

5. Drying and Milling: The extract of standardization is dried to a defined level of moisture content and milled to a defined particle size that ensures uniformity and ability in the final product.
