Manufacturing
The first step is to collect the Yohimbe tree’s bark. After collection, it must be cleaned of dirt and other impurities and then dried slightly to reduce its moisture content. After drying, the Yohimbe bark is ground into a fine powder. Then a suitable solvent is used for yohimbine dissolution and extraction by solvent extraction technique. The target component is yohimbine and thus the resulting solution was concentrated until such time that 8% Yohimbe Plant Extract was realized. To ensure pure extract was obtained after concentration, the solution underwent filtration to remove any solids or contaminants. HPLC, if they are present, may be used to check for impurities in raw materials subjected to tough quality control tests.
